Webb12 nov. 2015 · Note that there is a rather complicated diverter duct within the tank, this causes the fuel coming down the filler neck to make a 90 degree turn. I suppose it is possible that if something is blocking that diverter assembly, it could be causing a slow fill. My Mrs can't fill it without getting constant blow backs which once overflowed petrol (Gas) all down her front - she now refuses to fill it! I think a lot of the problem she has centres around the anti syphon flap.
